My inspiration piece (You have to scroll past the turtorial to see the card): http://www.sweetstampshopblog.com/20...technique.html
I just got my Big Shot 3 days ago so this was a real learning experience!! I inked the embossing folder with gold ink pad - I think it was pretty dried out so not much color but enough to help highlight the embossing. Trimmed the piece & adhered to card base with Alenes tacky glue. My intent was to edge with gold ribbon - couldn't find any in my stash so used a piece of pin-striping from an Auto detailing kit. (Okay that works!) Die cut the words & Butterfly from Heavy gold metallic cardstock and adhered with Alene's.

What a lovely card and congratulations on entering the addictive world of die cutting! I love the delicate just-barely-there colour on the embossing and the rich look of the butterfly and sentiment. Fabulous!
