I am calling the technique used on the card background credit card swipe. On a wet palette or piece of freezer paper create a palette of colors with acrylic paints. Lightly mist them if you are not using a wet palette. Swipe the edge of an old credit card or hotel pass through the paints, collecting the colors on one edge, then swipe the card onto your paper. (Plain old printing paper used here.) Continue across your paper as long as you have paint. Let dry.
The leaves were colored by thumping red, orange, and green markers on a layer of yellow ink. The flowers were stamped in various ink colors, and some were stamped off to give a more distressed look. Some flowers were popped up on foam dots.

I love the credit card swipe technique and you have made good use of it on this card. Such a contemporary look and color scheme on this fall card! Lovely!
