Congratulations to the Ways to Use It Challenge! 600 is a lotta of using up what we have, right? I am using an ancient PSX stamp gifted to me years ago, the stenciled bg built with molding paste and colored and colored with rubbing on distress inks. The hexagonal pattern is rather comforting to me.
I've been meditating on the Proverb "Pleasant words are as honeycomb, sweet to the soul". Our souls cry out for words that nurture those tender spots we hide from the light of day. I've watched the pollinators in my garden all this season, flirting to and fro, drinking deep the nectar that feeds the hive. And I think of how just one smile, one loving embrace, one tender word can refresh a weary spirit. I am blessed indeed to have pollinators in my life.
and I wish for you much honey too!

So lovely to see one of your cards in the gallery, Susan, and your write up for this one is just as special as your card - I love the texture with the hexagonal stencilling and the ribbon at the top looks beautiful!! We have just moved into Spring over here in Australia and my DH and I are really enjoying the activity of the birds ATM - particularly a very busy magpie, obviously making a nest, and helping himself to the coconut fibre I have in a pot on my patio!!!

Now that was the verse I really wanted for my card, but had to make do with an allusion. We were definitely on the same wavelength! So delighted to see a card from you, that too is sweetness. I love that you used paste to create your comb, it looks truly amazing.

Oh, I love that verse and all the gold on this! Wonderful way to illustrate some of the words in the verse. Love, love, love this! Would make a cool Bible Journaling page too. I miss dropping by and seeing your fab creations! Hugz

What a deliciously glowing card Susan! The bees have been loving my marjoram this summer though very few were honey bees unfortunately. Sweet little stamp and a sentiment worthy of contemplation. Great combination!
