During the last few weeks I have been dealing with hand issues. While they are not completely gone (and some days are better than others) I am on the road to recovery. I went to the craft cave shortly after surgery and wanted to make a card. Everything I came up with that I wanted to do caused pain or I was unable to do. It caused great heartache and I started crying. I walked out of the room and my DH saw me and took me back to the craft room and helped me create this card. I pulled out this image that my wonderful friend Jan (Precious Kitty) sent me and was able to color it but I could not do any hair because I could not flick the hair so I kept it simple and loved it simple. My DH colored the hive, sponged and shaped the flower and colored the darling bee.
I am on the mend typing and a few other things are still difficult but getting better.
Thank you to my sweet friend Jan and my wonderful DH for the help and goodies. I am so blessed!
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Oh, Lisa, what a touching story about your husband and this card! I sure hope your hand gets totally healed soon! As for the card, it's gorgeous! I love the image of the lady and that gorgeous bee! I think you have a skilled card maker as a husband!

Nice card! I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your hands. I'm sure it is very difficult to find you can't create the things you used to be able to but it is wonderful that your hubby helped you create this beauty! Hope your feeling better real soon!

Your hubby is a keeper. Hugs to him. Hope your hand is doing better. I wear a plastic brace on mine, my internet is on my iPhone or iPad. I know how you feel. Like you say, some days are better then others. That being said..., you and hubby are a great duo! What a bee-utiful card. I love the colors, and images. I'd love to know who makes this little lady. I keep seeing her pop up, but today she looks stunning.

Top marks to your DH for helping you create this beautiful card for the 600th WT, Lisa. I'm glad that you are on the road to recovery now, but I'm sure that you must have felt better inside after making this, even if your hand was still so bad at the time. I think the simple colouring forced on you by circumstances really suits the image, too.
