This card is for Holly's Technique Lovers challenge, to make a Waterfall card.
I love this technique and for this card I have used some Penny Black images perfect for a Christmas card and the challenge.
The first square you can see, the second square when revealed has a bird in a pompom hat sitting on a turtle knitting with the greeting saying 2 turtle doves, the third square has a bird in a stripped shirt carrying a bread stick and a glass of wine and says 3 french hens, the fourth square has a bird with a handbag over one arm / wing and in the other hand / wing is holding a mobile phone and the greeting says 4 calling birds.
It is very amusing and has made a great Christmas card.
I put an extra backing piece onto the back of the card allowing the card to stand freely and also an extra space to write a message.
Cheers
Marg

What fun images for your Christmas card! And you ONLy have to add another 25 cm to the length of your card to accomodate the other 8 days (tee hee hee . . .) Beautifully done.

What a great choice of stamps for this technique, Marg. Hmmm, I wonder how long a strip it would take to fit them all! The holly background is fab. And the holly brads couldn't be more perfect.
