Made for 52 Christmas Card Thowdown Sketch Challenge 34-16: http://52cct.blogspot.co.uk/ that required three rectangular elements.
I wanted to experiment with Puffy Paint to see how well it simulated snow, so torn two pieces of Whisper White card stock to look like hills, then after attaching the houses squirted the Puffy Paint onto the hills edges and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the paint before heating. You can tell when you have heated the paint enough because it starts bubbling and expanding (so don't get too carried away squirting it on, since it will grow in volume!).
The houses were all stamped with Versamark and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder before being set with the Heat Tool.
The sentiment is from the SU Happy Scenes photopolymer stamp set. I chose this set because the photopolymer stamps can be bent or arched on the acrylic stamping block to give it curves.
The brown and gray houses were attached with Tombow Glue, and the red house in the middle was attached with SU Foam Adhesive Strips.
If I use the Puffy Paint again, I would use even less paint than I did. It expands about 4x in volume after being heated, but is soft after heated, so will mail in an envelop just fine, so the volume won't be a problem in that regard, just appearance.
