Hi Everyone - this is my second card for today's IC challenge. Here's my inspiration piece: Fedrigoni Metallic Papers | Thomas Manss & Company . The inspiration image is so bold and I wanted to capture as much of the color as I could.
To make this I started by stamping the solid butterfly layer in Wild Wasabi using my MISTI, then I restamped that layer with Wasabi and some smooshes of Cucumber Crush. I stamped the next layer with Cucumber and Basic Gray markers. Then I stamped the border layer using Cajun Craze marker. I repeated some of the layers to add depth here and there, yet without covering all the light space. I also added Wink of Stella for a little sparkle. Lastly I stamped my card base, wrote over the word 'Thanks' with my fine tip glue and added the copper cord and gem.
I made four of these sweet little thank you cards - the next photo shows all of them together. So easy to make multiples using my MISTI.
Thanks everyone for looking.
Hugs,
Audrey

Absolutely gorgeous! I love this faux water color butterfly (gorgeous!) and I love the overall simplicity of this card, yet it is elegant too. I love the thread treatment you used here too! ~Karen.
