Colored the stamp with zig markers then spritzed with water before stamping (this is the 2nd generation print - the first had too much ink). I went in with a wet paintbrush and moved some of the ink around. Sponged the edges of the panel, splattered with diluted inks of the same colors and white acrylic paint. Stamped sentiment, matted in black, attached and added sequins.

This has beautiful colors (I can see why you were struck by those in the inspiration piece) and you have given it a very artsy feel with the spritzed marker technique you used to stamp these fabulous birds!
