This card first started out as another life completely, however it didn't work so back to the drawing board for another go.
The card is for Julies CAS challenge and while it is a single sheet of card there is quite a bit of work in it. There are also quite a few things I would do differently if I did it again.
The most important change would be to attache the ribbon before I use the die, I wasn't sure if 1. the die would cut through the card and ribbon and 2. if the ribbon would move when being cut by the die.
The die cut through both the card and ribbon perfectly although I did use one layer of shim and the ribbon didn't move in the process.
When I stamped the peace of mistletoe I used markers SU Garden Green and for the berries SU So Saffron, the reason being in real life the berries are a creamy white so after stamping them with the soft yellow I went over them with the white Signo pen.
I stamped and colored the little image while it was separate from the card and then placed it back in its own oval space attaching it on the back with sellotape.
Finally I attached a piece of red insert paper to the inside of the card attaching it to the front of the card at the crease and also about two centimeters down from the crease which then covers the sellotape, and that's it.
Cheers
