One of the great things about Stampin' Up! Designer Papers is how well they go together. I used two designs from SU's 'Santa & Co.' paper to create the mountain background, then overlayed the vellum of mountain trees on top of the swirly Smokey Slate paper to create the "snow" effect I was looking for to back the Dasher deer stamp.
The three dot elements are SU Candy Dots colored with Stazon black ink. If I had left them their original blue color, they would have blended too much into the Marina Mist matting behind the deer. The matted deer was raised off the background panel using SU Stampin Dimensional foam pieces.
The ruffled blue ribbon is no longer available from SU, but thankfully, I have my stash to draw upon for this card.
Whoever gets this card at Christmas will feel very special, yet it was so easy to put together using such a great sketch! Thanks, Kaylin, for challenging us this week!
