I had to try another card for Karen Dunbrook's TLC challenge, "All Natural Impressions" - to press real flowers or leaves onto paper using a Big Shot or Cuttlebug.
This time I used three wild cornflower blossoms on watercolour paper and got a pretty decent impression, with some nice colour. I added a new-to-me sentiment, a black border, and some gold sequins.

amazing amount of colour from the cone flowers, the images are gorgeous. when I tried some flowers I liked the colour but ended up with huge run of green water as I squished it in cuttlebug

Susan, I've only seen a few people get impressions like this using flowers! Yours is fantastic! It looks like a flower! I've never been able to capture one as beautifully as you did here and I just love the color!

Really beautiful, Susan. Your cornflower impressions are terrific and really recognizable as those flowers. I also like the way you arranged them.....a most pleasing design.
