It took 6 tries to get this pressed flower. I was either squishing too much or not enough. I finally shimmed and used a rubber mat on Tab 3? the base. The flower is a pink Wild Phlox but it came out purple. It is matted on Almost Amethyst and mounted on Antique Linen that I scored in the corner for the CAS challenge. Added an epoxy sticker that has a crosshatch pattern just to make sure I have the diagonals covered.

Wow, Julie!! Your use of the technique created a marvelous card! The purple from the flower and mat match so perfectly. I tried 6 times and gave up!! May try again!!

GORGEOUS card, Julie. This technique can give one surprises with the colors that emerge from the "pressing". It is easy to see where natural dyes came from....the most unexpected sources. Love your card design....so well balanced and elegant.

Fabulous! Such a pretty impression. You might not have expected that color, but it is so lovely. I like the scored corner and the cute accent. You've got the angle element covered. Love that linen paper. Nicely done! TFS

I think the scores got you in on the CAS, but the epoxy circle is a beautiful addition. The flower is gorgeous. I must look back at the gallery, I feel that this is a predominant colour scheme.
