Since I had enough of the embossed gold background piece to cut out another angel and words, I made a second card in lighter blues. I'm sad because I tried so hard to get a photo that really shows the colours - I used Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean, and the green hues of the Peacock Feathers just aren't coming through no matter which camera I use.
For this one, instead of a copper border I used gilding flakes, and I embossed the stars in gold after doing everything else, instead of stamping them along with the sentiments. I also added some Liquid Pearls a la Francie, otherwise the technique is pretty much the same as yesterday's card HERE.
I used Anne's No Iron Resist technique, but first of all I stamped two sentiments from Unity and stars on my base. Then I used scrunched up wax paper and Versamark, embossed it with clear EP and wiped the whole thing with Peacock Feathers. Wiped it clean and repeated the process, this time using Salty Ocean. Then I stamped and embossed the stars in gold, and added some chunky white EP, and edged it with gilding flakes.
The angel is die-cut from an old failed background, it was an IO backgrounder embossed in gold and coloured with watercolours. I used it for the words, too. The swirly inset in the angel, I coated it with Versamark and embossed it with Iridescent Ice.
Like the first card, this one two looks better in real life...I'll have to try again.

Wow Sabrina this is gorgeous, I love that you have created a second card!!! I have exactly the same trouble getting true life photos when I use these same distress colours. I forgot to click the heart button on your other cards, but I am very glad others remembered.
