Do you ever feel like you are caught in Wonderland like Alice? I have felt that way all year. Things have been a bit out of control and lots of strange (some super wonderful and some super scary) things have happened.
One of the things that happened that was wonderful was that my youngest daughter and I opened up a junk booth at a flea market. We try to fill it with "Farm house" finds. We have met the most interesting people, done the most interesting things, found a world we never knew existed, and had lots of fun. Yesterday I found a large old ice box from the 30's - it was in mint condition and really large. I could just imagine the lady who owned it putting a block of ice in it to keep her food cold. Fun stuff. I digress....
Love this Alice Chibi by Star Stamps. I sponged the sky and grass, then water distressed the panel. Some of my image smeared, one spot got a little too wet and messed up. I redrew my lines and kept going creating a little castle, some trees, and some line art. I made some Xs in the trees and the clocks are 0's as are some of the details I drew in the castle so I qualify for the WT598 X&O challenge.
Hope you have fun this weekend.

This is fantastic Nancy!! I love the black items coming down from the sky, and your black outlined castle left white. The sky and grass are done so well. This kind of also reminds me of the Wizard of Oz - the little girl is running down the path. Great job!!

Nancy I wish I could sit at your kitchen counter and chat about all the wonderful things that happened this year and all not so wonderful stuff too. What ever is going on sure hasn't affected your amazing creativity. Your Alice is as sweet as can be and her handdrawn castle is brilliant. Everything about this is brilliant my friend. I am sneaking this into My Favs for this weekend. Hugz xxxxx
