I've long admired Lavinia stamps but since they are a UK company I found them a little too dear. I am happy to say I found a supplier in a neighboring state (oregon) that carries them....Frantic Stamper. Now I want them all! They are very nice quality stamps. Lavinia stamp store on-line has some wonderful tutorials and this is my first attempt. Stamping on Yupo paper is different and the only ink that works I think is Ranger Archival. Someone said Versafine will not dry on Yupo paper. Yupo is plastic and has different properties than regular card stock.
I listed my paint rag among my accessories for a reason. If you look at the ink shapes that look textured, this is done by pressing a paint rag (terry) on the ink with a bit of blending solution on it. this removes some of the ink and gives it a lovely textured look. It is so much fun to try new things!

I do love that background - goes with the sentiment so well. I have just found Lavinia - and they are so hard to find here too - I am on the waiting list from Frantic Stamper as well. I can wait. Love the texture you created with your painting rag.
