Hi Everyone! This card is for Saturday's IC Challenge - here's a link to my inspiration: Chili Peppers and for today's Featured Stamper Challenge. Today's FS is Donna Idlet aka didlet and her gallery is amazing. So many wonderful designs filled with rich colors and fun techniques. Here's her gorgeous A Bit of Kindness card.
Changes were with image and colors. Her card is stenciled, mine is stamped, I also added matting and gems.
To make this first I had to dig through my stash to find this retired typeset DSP, whew, I found it . Next I inked up the Dahlia image using Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight - and after stamping but before lifting the stamp off the paper, I placed my Stamp-a-majig beside my block so I could repeat stamp. Next I re-inked the stamp this time adding just a little Watermelon Wonder ink. I used a watercolor brush to move the ink around a little to avoid any hard lines before stamping. Next I stamped the sentiment, added the gems matted and done.
Donna - I enjoyed spending time visiting your gallery today. Congrats!!
Thanks for taking a peek!
Hugs,
Audrey

Fabulous! Your flower is amazing. Enjoyed reading your description of what you did and learning the little tip with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. Clever! The colors you used are so pretty together. Looks great on the typeset paper. Nicely done from both your inspiration choices. TFS
