I forgot to tell my story, so I will add it now. All was well on the farm, until a bold little chick found some grain close to the pig. She just walked up and started eating and Lucy, the pig thought it was sort of funny. The two brother chicks decided to join their sister for the good food, and started walking that way, but momma hen saw them just in time and went crazy chasing them before they got stomped on by sweet Lucy pig. That's my story!
This is a card for this week's teapot challenge to feature fresh country air and farm scenes, and also for the ways to used it challenge of today to bask in the sunshine. Other than the sentiment and the barn, all the stamps for this scene came from a Stampendous set. I started by stamping the farmer, then masked him to stamp the barn. Then the animals were stamped and later masked to colour the grass, and the path. I free hand drew the trees in the background with markers. While colouring the barn roof, I got some marker on my fingers and accidentally touched the paper. So, I was forced to punch a sun to cover it up.
This card will be sent to Marilyn who is a suggested recipient of our teapot cards this week.

This is adorable!! Love the farm scene you created. There's even a windmill in the background. Awesome card. Love the punched sun and the sentiment to go with it. Great job combining challenges. TFS

That is the cutest farm scene and I just love your pig. It's a nice, sunny day with that wonderful sun shining down.

When I saw this, I thought it would be a good card to send to Marilyn. Then I read that that is what you had planned to do. Your masking skills are excellent too, Ina. No mistake, the sun was meant to be there, lol.......
