This is another layout for the august stashbusters challenge.
For this challenge, we had to use 3 of the following:
1. 3 or more patterned papers
2. Flowers
3. Ribbon or twine
4. Something metal
5. A transparency or overlay
6. Washi tape
I chose numbers 1, 3, 4, and 6. The third PP was used making the polka dotted pinwheels. The metal piece is the embellishment that says "freedom" and has ribbon attached to it.
These photos are from the 4th of July parade in the small town of Independence, Iowa (where I was born). It has been voted the 3rd best small-town parade in America. We were lucky to be able to visit this July and take our DD to the parade, which is something I used to do when I was a child. The last time she got to see it was when she was 3 (she is 10 now), so it was a really special moment to share.

What a treat to be at this parade for all of you, especially your DD. At 10 it is an event she'll not forget and you have created a fabulous layout to commemorate it too.
