The background for this card is a gelli print done on scripted pattern paper. First the base color of acrylic paint (green) was brayered onto the gelli plate. Then the batik stamps were stamped onto the paint. The scripted pattern paper was laid down and pulled to reveal the pattern. The hello sentiment was added along with the scrabble tiles and the other sentiment.

Jean, this is so pretty! Your gelli print came out beautifully and the combination of sentiment styles works perfectly. This is a winner of a card, 10 points plus a beauty bonus!! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Some time I am just going to have to try printing, even if it's with a homemade plate. I think the effect of using the script paper as a base is just so lovely, especially where it shows through the flowers. Great mixing of tiles and stamping for the sentiment, too.
