Loved doing the Watercolor lifting tutorial right here on splitcoast by Wendy. Ithought it made a good background for this card for the Alphabet Challenge Round 6 week 3. Besides the technique begins with a W! The letters are being drawn randomly. Our double challenge this week was to have no white on our card. That is kind of hard. I usually want my sentiment on white or my base to be white! But I had fun using the new In Colors from SU!
Come check out the Alphabet challenge! You can jump in anytime!
Thanks for looking!

Lovely and refreshing looking with the new colors (which I do not have yet!). The addition of the little butterfly is perfect on your offset greeting. Interesting technique-I will have to check it out!

Wow! I really like this a lot! This is a really gorgeous technique that I need to check out. I love how your blossoms are blended in color for that soft watercolor look I love. Your offset sentiment is fabulous as is your little jeweled butterfly. ~Karen.

This is beautiful Sharon! My first attempt at that technique wasn't anywhere near as lovely as this. I showed that technique to my youngest daughter and she had to make a card using that technique too. I really like those new colors - those two in particular! Wonderful watercolor card you've created!

Wonderful with the Watercolor Lifting. I love how the embossed area keep the color and the rest fades away. Nice choice and use of the colors. Glad to see some older stamps sets get some ink. Well done! TFS
