The cloudy background was made using a template created from the SU Circle Card Thinlits scalloped circle die cut from thick card stock, then I used to sponge and rotate across the sky per SCS Tutorial "Cloudy Backgrounds" at: Cloudy Backgrounds Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I chose the "Get Well Soon" sentiment from SU Sincere Salutations because most get well cards have flowers and ribbons, which just aren't appropriate for guys when they need cheering up after surgery or sickness. I thought the floating kites in a bright sky would be spirit lifting to tough guys who hate to admit they aren't at the top of their game sometimes.

You are so right, Donna, about guys who need a card. This one is perfection, and I love the kites floating in the breeze. Very up-lifting, and a true double meaning!

Thank you for your kind comments, SWLDEBBIE, ANNSFORTE3, GUNEAUXDESIGNS, PALPARIS and BEJOYCE. I was surprised and pleased with how well the clouds turned out. I think they really MAKE the card! I'll have to experiment with different size scallop circles to see what other effects I can create... maybe use different templates in different parts of the sky? Another challenge!
