This is such a pretty technique that I need lots and lots of practice to master. I wanted a touch of green on the loves and I'm not real happy with how that worked, but I love the flower. The stripe panel and the rustic white background were on my table. I roughed up the edges of the watercolor panel with my fingernail and sponged the edge with walnut stain distress ink.

this is gorgeous I think the way the black bleeds it can give it that faded almost like an old photo look so my eye almost sees it as green
even on the ones I did with no green at all.
its funny how your mind sees things I guess. I just see it as gorgeous
