I've been busy with smoking/canning salmon and making raspberry jam for the post 8 days, so this is my first chance to play in the DTGD16challenges. I managed to combine 5 for Nancy's, Gayatri's, Tabbatha's, Cathy's and Lydia's challenges. I got to play with my new flower die and color burst powders. The stenciled BG was made by cutting the hexagon BG from paper, then misting over it and it's one I made quite sometime back. I like to make several BG's when I play, so that I have them on hand for projects. I think I'm really going to enjoy the color burst powders and hope to add more to my collection. This is for our cousin, who shattered her kneecap and has to have surgery this coming Tuesday. Thanks for looking and the fun challenges you girls gave us.

I love the beautiful colours of the hollyhocks, and your soft stencilled background is lovely. Ouch, a shattered kneecap sounds pretty painful. I'm sure she will appreciate this lovely card.

So sorry to hear about your cousin, but a card like that should help keep up her spirits. I am seriously loving the die cut - such brilliant, bright colors! Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge.
