This week I did a card for the inspiration challenge using two inspirations! This image on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/320107485995298340/
....and Nancy's challenge with Stencils & Paste (check out the DTGD16nancylittrell keywords). I used off white paste for the background of my focal point, and black paste for the side of the white base. What I learned was you really need to wait till paste dries (at least 10 minutes when it's thick like this) before mounting anything....or it will stick to it - LOL - which might not be such a bad idea in certain cases!
Please....don't ask me why I'm photographing my card in a bar, it's a long story - LOL.
Please come join us and create something uniquely inspired of your very own!
Hugs,
Audrie
P.S. I also stenciled a few letters onto the all black envelope that goes with this card. (I plan to write the address with white ink.) Tip: If you stencil on envelopes remember to keep the layer VERY thin - and just in case - add another 20 cents postage.

Haha! I did find myself fascinated by what was in the background of your photo! This is really neat. I don't have any texture paste but you've just put out on the top of my wish list!

Audrie, what a cool card! I admit I am a tactile sensory girl when it comes to cards, and though I would love to feel this fabulous card, I can feel it with my eyes. That stool with the books is a splendid accessory, perhaps inspired by the background atmosphere. ;p
