Made this for several DTGD challenges: Lydia's, both Vicki's (Vicki Dutcher and basement stamper), Tabbatha's, Teresa's!
My bg: Sponged the card front with distress inks, then splattered water splats on the ink for added interest, then stamped the leaf from the hibiscus stamp set. Die cut and embossed a separate piece of white cs for the focal panel. With my brand new flamingo set, I stamped (triple stamping) the flamingo, die cut, and then sprayed with shimmer spritz for that added sparkle that I love. Embossed the sentiment (taken from parts of 2 sentiments) on a black flag and assembled. Flamingo is popped up with dimensionals, added the enamel dots.

Gorgeous colours for your tropical themed card Maura. Love the added texture from the splattered background, and that awesome embossing folder. Your flamingo is so regal! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

How efficient combining so many challenges! I get inspired like that occasionally too. I'm seriously loving all the work you put into this card, it really is striking.
