This is for Teresa's challenge. I love to play with water techniques on glossy photo paper. It is so different than regular glossy paper as there must be some chemical reaction in the coating when water hits it. Anyway, I started with brushos, sprinkling than spraying. After that was dry, I inked up the tiger marble bg stamp with distress stains and spritzed the stamp with water before stamping. It's a pretty busy background, but I like the colors and patterns. I stamped the quote and then hand drew a heart around it with my Faber-Castell artist pen. Didn't like it, so I die cut the flourish 2x and embellished the heart. I swiped 3 different colors of yellow distress ink onto white paper and dripped water onto it, there is one prominent water splotch, Stamped the quote and cut out. The glossy panel is matted onto certainly celery which is layered onto taken with teal.

I, too, like the shapes and colors in your background. It is so fun to use Brushos. What a pretty flourish die for your wonderful sentiment.

What a brilliant sentiment. And gosh, I am totally the other way round. Good glossy cardstock is as rare as hens teeth here, and always more expensive on carriage because of weight - but I would far rather use it than photo paper, which I find takes so long to dry. Mind you - I did find it worked well for Robin's challenge ;-). Seeing your results, maybe I need to try harder with Brushos.
