This is for SabrinaÂ’s DTGD Challenge and for MaryÂ’s Color Challenge with dessert of fruit. When I went to the kitchen to get salt for the background, I found kitchen twine I had forgotten about. I used a piece with the seam binding. ItÂ’s so soft and unravels so nicely. Needless to say, it will be no longer found in the kitchen and IÂ’ll be using it for cards instead of cooking. The salted background created such an interest backdrop for these sweet summer fruits in these beautiful colors. Thanks for looking!

I love that twine, too. Glad you found it for this very pretty card. Nice background and yummy fruits.

What a fabulous background, Diane! It almost looks as if you had stamped with the cross-section of something; I just love the effect you got. And the little twine knot is just great. The card is indeed a sweet treat - thank you for playing along in my challenge.
