Thanks for taking a closer look! I typically make a different style of card, but every once in a while, I really like to change things up!
I decided to combine last week's Mixability challenge with this week's. I did the faux gold leaf technique with both gold and copper embossing powder. I used both aluminum foil and paper -- they both work great.
Then I found this brown patterned cardstock in my stash that is similar to the "ugly" Pantone color for this week's Mixability. I think that addition of the copper color in the paper and the metallics help liven up this color.

This turned out great...I love that you used both gold and copper...they provide a nice contrast to the "ugly" brown dp (which I think is quite pretty). Lovely combination of elements on this.
