The stamps are from a company based in Vancouver where I live. It is called Local King Rubber Stamp - they make stamps, some dies, and also sell a set of markers and glossy card stock for the technique they teach for colouring their stamps with their markers.
I used the Local King markers in a variety of colours to colour my bird stamps. I stamped them on glossy cardstock and then sponged around the birds. I bordered the panel with black, glued on a die cut branch under the birds' feet, and added a stamped and heat embossed sentiment. I let the branch and sentiment hang over the edges of the focal panel to add more interest.
It's Dare to Get Dirty week - a great series of challenges for SCS Fan Club members. The Fan Club helps to fund SCS and keep it going. It's not too late to join and share in the fun of Dare to Get Dirty. Here's the info you need:

WOW what a fantastic job you did with that technique and love your color choices! I got to do a demo with that stamp at our convention and bought it along with their markers. Didn't have their paper. No other paper worked. Finally ordered it and haven't tried it again. Thanks for the nudge, Susan! It's time to try it after seeing this. Your card is fabulous!
