I went with Christmas, which is good because I need to fulfill my stash. I embossed cs with Scrollwork ef, then using SAMJ, I stamped the tree in the oval with Always Artichoke ink. However, the ink didn't all apply, so restamped but I was off. That changed the water in the beans, as my dad would say, and I had to resort to other measures. I stamped on a separate piece of same cs and fussy cut the tree. I sponged Inkagold on the original tree around the star. Wrapped the red and gold thread around tree and used folded glue dots to give the tree some dimension. Lastly, I misted the container of Inkagold with water and used a sponge dauber to edge the card for a little glimmer and shine, but it doesn't really show well in the photo.

I need to fill up my stash too! Maybe I will refocus my attention on my Christmas stamps! This is beautiful! I like the tree "garland" and pretty framing!

What a beautiful tree. I love the threads in red and gold running up the tree...made a very special garland.

Still smiling at "changed the water in the beans" - so cute! I'm glad you shared your story and your midstream fixes - good to know we're all human here! I love the way you used the Inka Gold - I went on a binge when it seemed like they were going to go extinct, and quite a few of those pots are drying out. I'll have to experiment more with water when I get unpacked. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Splitcoast as a Fan Club Member!
