I seem to have fallen in love with ink and water! For this background, I took distress ink pads and scribbled them on my craft mat, spritzed with water then placed my watercolor paper on top. I did not swish the paper through the ink as we do with the wrinkle free distress technique because I wanted distinct patches of color. I then heat dried the paper, and tapped it again in the remaining ink for the yummy water splatters!

Angie - you do the best staging for your pics - always adds that little extra to an already fab card! Love how your flowers catch the eye even with a fair amount of stuff (color, splatter, etc.) going on in the background. Not sure how you did it, but you really pulled it off - my eye was immediately drawn to your focal image. Great job!
