I cut a whole bunch of different snowflakes from pearlescent card and glued them to my shimmer-mist base, then embossed. Trimmed to size, edged with silver Stickles and tied silver cording around. The sentiment I was going to use was too big, so I die-cut words from silver glitter card instead. The wooden snowflake is dressed up a little by using Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels with Heat and Stick powder. Kind of made me sad pulling the snowflakes out -the last time I used one was to make a special Christmas card for a dear neighbour who had cancer and knew it was her last Christmas.

Nice idea to use multiple die cuts and then provide texture across the background, that's a great interpretation of this challenge and it has come together really nicely, well done and thanks for contributing such a lovely sample for my DTGD Challenge this year, much appreciated!

This looks terrific Sabrina. I bet it looks even more special in real life!! Sorry to read it made you a bit sad, it's strange how our craft stuff can hold lots of different emotions. I know I think of you everytime I see a Snoopy image. Hugs my friend.

Sabrina, this is so pretty! It doesn't get any better than, blue, white and silver for a winter card! I love the embossed BG over the die cut snowflakes!
