This is for Jan's Tickle a Teapotter challenge today. I found a red polka-dot teapot in my collection. Truly, I actually used to have one, though I think I purged it in one of our house moves. And the dots were more like tiny little hearts. Anyway, inspired by that one, I stamped this one twice, embossing one with clear EP to make it glazed like real china, and layering it on the base. I added a border of lace cut from a scrap of paper, and used up a fancy die-cut which has been lying on my desk.
BG paper stitched with black, added to a base sponged with Peeled Paint. Hard to see in the photo but there are little Liquid Pearl dots round all the ivy leaves.

Sabrina this is so pretty!! I love your tea pot and I love the ruffles and the beautiful square die behind it. Your stitching is wonderful. Thank you so much for playing and for all the hard work you did setting this up.

Awww! What a fun teapot. I am not sure I could purge a red and heart-polka dot teapot!!! (I know you have to sometimes though). I love the colors and layers you used! Sweetness!
Sabrina, great minds think alike!! My card also has a polk-a-dot teapot on it. I love yours so much better. Love pattern background paper and the frame around the teapot.

This is awesome, Sabrina! SO many wonderful details, but that red polka dot teapot is the coolest! Love it!

Very pretty with this unexpected color combo. I really like the ivy die-cut frame. (I like the look of ivy but we've spent years battling the real stuff. In this warm climate it grows like crazy and is basically an invasive species. Years ago I planted some in an area that was bare and covered with mulch, and the ivy just took over. The only way we have found to control it requires digging it out by hand.)

Once again I am in awe of your framing skills...the red patterned paper is beautiful and the bright green of the die cut is a terrific contrast. Love the zig zag stitching and the polka dot teapot, too...Absolutely adorable!
