Hello, sweet friends! Are you keeping cool (or for our friends in Australia - keeping warm)? Seems we are all having extreme weather this year! I used this new remixed digital image that comes with a heart with no sentiment, so I decided to use one of the sentiments from Juicy Strawberries. One of the great things about digis is resizing them, and I resized the floral heart to fit into this heart die. It just seemed perfect with the scallops, don't you think? I wanted to find some DP to make it feminine. I even managed to use stripes for this past Thursday's Ways To Use It challenge - yay! I had wanted to do that challenge but ran out of steam (as has been the norm for a while now). But I decided to use the striped side of this DP that worked with the floral piece at the bottom. I used some ribbon - something we are using less and less of, right? And Rich Razzleberry ended up working perfectly with this DP, and I think it's the first time I've used it - haha! Well, that's two "never been used" items - the DP and Rich Razzleberry. Anyway, I decided it needed a little something in the corner, and I used some Liquid Pearls, and I also popped the heart. So that's it, and it's easy to mail.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I sure hope you have a wonderful week!

So sweet Cheryl, love your delicate blossoms on your open scalloped heart.... My favorite thing about digis are you can resize for your own design.... Lovely card my dear..... Yes, I'm keeping cool with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a cold drink.... Hugs

Oh, I absolutely love this! I have never tried using a digi image before so never thought about being able to resize it. I love that idea. I have a TON of DSP, but am actually very challenged when it comes to using it. I am putting this into my favs because I love the the image and the gorgeous DSP you used here. This is really lovely! ~Karen.

Hope you're staying cool!! I'm glad that our temps have finally went down a bit instead of the crazy heat we've been experiencing!

Just stunning again and so beautifully coloured in your special style. I love the design papers you have selected to complement the image - love the dusty rose colour which gives the card a lovely vintage feel.
