This is for Polly's fun Mixability Challenge this week - Faux Gold Leaf. I followed Polly's instructions for the technique and I used this as a frame for a vintage image I already had printed - the image I found on the internet and printed on shimmery white c/s.
Distressed and sponged the edges of the dp. Stamped the sentiment, lightly sponged in distress ink and used a gold marker around the edges. Added the lace and antique brad.
TFL!

Your faux gold leaf framed is perfect with the vintage print that you found, Sue. This "era" artwork need this kind of frame to go with this period of decor. Your card is beautiful and I know the shimmer IRL must be lovely.

I love how your faux gold frame turned out...it's perfect! I really like your choice of embellishments and that quote from Coco....it goes together like it was made for the image. Thanks for playing!
