Based on the attention to detail and time spent in the work shop of a Potter, I decided that I wouldn't go for a CAS design this week. Instead, I'd pull out my dies. After cutting all the shapes out, I also spent some time "rounding" the edges of my flowers to give them more depth (something that Kittie is so good at). IMO that's about as close as I'll get to the turning machine this week - LOL!
I already had the envelope done, but thought it would be the perfect fit for the card! What do you think? (P.S. The beautiful rectangle die was a gift from a fellow splitcoaststamper cat-lover like me-LOL).
I added my cup that I got from the Multnomah Falls in Oregon so that I could play in the Bonus Challenge too!
Please join us on the IC555, and be inspired by hundreds of artistic bowls and pottery this week!
Hugs,
Audrie

I love your beautiful flowers - great dimension there! I actually think this is CAS - even with all of the work you put into it. Beautifully inspired card!

Audrie, I enjoy your non-CAS cards so much! After seeing your inspiration bowl, which is beautiful, I think you did a great job with your card fully conveying the beauty of the bowl. Love the die cuts and beautiful flowers on your card. The envelope is just as gorgeous!

Lovely card, and you captured the delicate look of the pottery. I like how you placed the darker flowers in the background to give the white flowers added pop. TFS

Super stunning board Audrie, love your cup. My MIL collects pottery cups too. I love looking at her collection. Alas all my clay and pottery that I have made over the years is at my mom's or broke but it was fun creating it when I did get to play and mold the clay. Great challenge and inspiration board and stunning card you created for the challenge today.

Beautiful work. I'm going to remember the tip about rounding the corners of the flowers - gives great dimension to the card. Multnomah Falls are amazing. Wish I were there right now!
