Coloring books are really popular now aren't they? Everywhere I go I see them - even coloring cards.
Here's an idea. Why not color a page (or part of one) from your favorite coloring book and either cut it out or use one of your favorite die cuts to cut a partial piece of your coloring. Couple your coloring book piece with another technique - there are so many fun and different ways to experiment with coloring books and mediums. From Copics, pencils, markers, to watercolor!
I colored my piece with Copics, and added some white gel trim for more interest. The black card stock really provided nice contrast for all the vibrant colors, and the soft vellum with embossed sentiment didn't hide the main image - Yay!
For a small sum a coloring book can add a lot of creativity to your stamping tool box. Now that's value added!

Wow, Susie! This is magnificent! Love this idea but some of those pages are large and overwhelming. What a fabulous coloring job you did on this and love the white gel pen you added. This is such a super card!

This is gorgeous! I love the bright happy colors you used to color in these gorgeous blooms with, and the added white gel pen is fantastic. The black back ground really makes this card pop! I would never in a milion years have thought to take a color book page and make it into a card- I love this! ~Karen
