I used an inky paper towel to create my background (check out my blog to see how).
I used that for my background in the card above, then simply added two black die-cut flower sprigs and a black sentiment banner with white heat embossing.

Love this idea and actually did it! What an awesome background, Loll! The black die cut is SO perfect on this. I need to exercise more patience though when doing techniques like this. The part where you let it dry- I never do that (grin). Thus my messes!

love the paper towel texture pattern when it's pressed against the paper. thanks for the personal tutorial on Saturday. I have to pull my inky paper pieces out. awesome card and love the black die cut.

So basically, we could all throw away our (oops I mean sell or give away or have never purchased in the first place) all our stuff - we just need some paper towels, paper, and ink! Seriously, this is beautiful and so creative. Hugz
