On a recent trip to visit my mother in the UK I picked up a set of stamps by docraft. I loved the paper clip and spiral bind and thought it would make a great note for a card.
The background is distress ink on my craft mat spritzed with water and the paper tapped on to it. I then stamped the paper clip and spiral edge, I went over the clip in metal gel pen. The strip of copper was left over from a trip to Lolls a few months ago, she sent Susan and I home with some. they are great accents to cards unfortunately my aim was a little off so it's not as straight as I'd like . For dimension I curled and distressed the corner. The sentiment is by Stampit Australia.

Lovely colours and technique for the background! Great new stamp set and great use of the strip of copper - I wouldn't even have noticed it wasn't perfectly straight if you hadn't mentioned it!

This is so creative and it popped right into my faves! Love your distress background with the strip of copper setting it off. The binder and clip images are great as well as the coffee circles. Love that sentiment!

LOVE the mix of colours on your smooshed piece Christine. So pretty. I thought the clip was real until I read your description ... how cool!! The strip of copper adds something special. Great design, my friend. xx
