I'm excited to make samples for Nancy Littrell's (DTGD16nancylittrell) Challenge. So much fun, I made a second sample.
For this card I used two stencils. One for the background, which is a monprint of a honeycomb stencil using watercolour sprays. Very subtle colours and design. The second stencil (sunflower) is placed over top and sponged with distress inks. Then I spread a layer of glass bead gel over top. The glass bead gel is so beautiful ... it really sparkles and catches the light. An amazing product and fun to use. I finished the card with a simple stamped sentiment.
The Dare to Get Dirty challenges run July 30 through August 6th, with 5 or more challenge each day. So much fun ... so much amazing inspiration from past and present Dirty Girls. Click here for the Dare To Get Dirty 2016 Chat Thread.
Accessories: watercolour sprays made from liquid concentrate (orange, yellow, magenta - Dick Blick), Honeycomb stencil cut with my Silhouette Cameo, Mini Joyful Sunflower stencil (The Crafter's Workshop), sponges, glass bead gel (Golden)
Awesome card, Loll! I love the stenciled sunflower, vibrant colors and the glass bead gel looks so neat! I've never seen that product, but might have to check it out! Thanks for enabling! LOL!!
