It's a busy time at work these days with co-workers retiring. This is one of two cards which are very similar, I may post the second in the near future but this is the one that became a birthday card. Once I had flooded the card with water while watercolouring, I love the muted effect but the card looked too warped to use as a retirement card, It went back into the stash as a smaller version in a birthday card. I need a much bigger one for the retirement card as we need lots of space for signatures.
I'm entering this for two challenges.

Wow, Christine, that is a truly fabulous card - love the mix of markers and watercolour, the layering of the stamps, and the great sentiment. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up.

Love your flooded watercolouring, Christine. Have not tried that ... need to add it to my list. I love the soft colours and the way the colours flowed. Great mix of stamps. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

Not a mistake, but a beauty! Love how there is subtle color on a striking image. The black mat for the whole panel adds just the right touch. Well done. It's a great birthday card. TFS
