Using a stencil from STAMPlorations, I stenciled the flowers to the side of my card using a bit of masking to get them just right. I inked with 2 colours then when done, I watercoloured the centers and splattered with white paint to help them pop.

WOW, my dear--this ROCKS!!! I love, love, LOVE this!!! SO cool yet elegant at the same time, not sure I could pull this off. May be someday?! I live in hope!!! FANTASTIC watercoloring and spattering on top of your stencilling, wow, wow, WOW!!! You have totally blown me away!!! Into my favs, of course, and I think I'll be sending a link to a friend who is newly painting and watercoloring--she too will be blown away. WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! Can you feel my enthusiasm?!

This is such a striking/elegant card! Your coloring techniques are amazing! I do appreciate how you share what you do because one of these days I will work up the nerve to try something like this. For now, I am content to appreciate your work and not try to attempt it. LOL. The sentiment is so perfect with these "joyful" flowers! ~Karen.
