This week's WT592, Decorative Boarders, and F4A334, Frameworthy, Challenges revolved around frames. For WT592, the hostess, sweet Lisa (Shoe Girl), challenged us to create using other than a simple cut card, but to "decorate all the way to the border. Add lace to the edge, color to the edge, stamp off the edge, die cut your card with a fancy die cut what ever you do go all the way to the border." Therefore, I used the largest die from the ODBD Vintage Border Dies to create my card in the form of a die.
For F4A334, the hostess, Wendy (Wendybell), challenged us to "add some sort of frame (it can be diecut, punched, stamped, embossed, etc.) to your lovely creation" Because my card is a frame made in the form of a die, I decided to submit the same card for this challenge. Wendy, so glad you like frames!!
For the IC554, Petals, the hostess, Audrie (girlgeek101), provided a website of gorgeous floral arrangements from which to choose as an inspiration. Audrie, since I had just finished this card right before you posted the challenge, I thought it would be OK to submit it for your challenge as well. To be honest, I did a reverse with the inspiration challenge. As I shared, I had already made the card featuring the flower Gladious, so I found on the site an arrangement with Gladious for my "inspiration piece" (www.petals.com/silk-gladiolus). Hopefully, this won't disqualify me!! Hugs, Audrie!!!
All three of the challenges were fantastic, ladies!!
TFL!!

The die cuts base is spectacular, and your focal image is a work of art. Even though you weren't inspired by our site to create it, I can clearly see your passion in your design! Your card is amazing and it inspires me!

Great combining of challenges, Bev! Those flowers always make me think of my father-in-law, he had a whole border of them. Some were even almost as tall as my MIL (who at her tallest didn't even make 5 ft). I like the clean look of this even with the decorative border of the base.

Bev, I don't know which is more beautiful, the glads or the frame. You met the challenges in a spectacular way.
