Hello, dear friends! How about more flowers? Surprise, right? I absolutely love sunflowers, and we've even grown some here in our yard. Oh, they are amazing and come in all sorts of colors. So I had fun coloring the newest Instant Garden digi. I decided to use X-Press It Blending Card for this card and used my Copic chart that I colored printed on X-Press It Blending Card. It's amazing the difference in the colors depending on what paper you use. Anyway, I colored my image and slowly added more contrast (something that terrifies me - ha!). The photograph doesn't capture the softer yellow I used. But it is nicer IRL, I think. There are two very nice sentiments with this release, but I need some cards for friends that are in need of prayer. So the lovely sentiment from Rose & Chamomile is perfect. I wanted this full image to take front stage, so I used the Wonky Stitched dies with a blue mat, and that makes for a very mail friendly card.
And since I've used the decorative wonky stitching for my border, I'm using this for this week's Ways To Use It challenge.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card. I hope you like it, and I hope that it will encourage my friend. Have a wonderful weekend coming up, and let's all continue to pray for our country and for France.

Blue and yellow together is gorgeous on your beautifully colored card. Your art is remarkable, Cheryl, and I love every piece! I too love sunflowers, as did my dad!! When he was with us, he always planted the tall version of sunflowers at the edge of his vegetable garden! I loved visiting to see the sunflowers!

Perfection! Cheryl. The shading brings these happy sunflowers to life. So like the blue vase with the yellow. You are the best enabler for these beautiful digis. Hugs, my friend. Fav'd
I know I already commented on your blog post, but I am here looking at the Ways to Use it challenge and I just have to admire this card again and love the frame die! That die is definitely on my wish list, it adds so much while keeping a card CAS.

Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.
This is so beautiful!! I love sunflowers! They remind me of being a kid in Kansas! Your coloring is exquisite. I love the wonky border, I think I need to put that on my wishlist!
