Too cold and miserable to be outside today to be working in the garden. The sunshine was not cooperating. So what better way to spend the afternoon by sailing away at sea.
This is a new Penny Black die - which I cut out in white card first - using wide double sided tape on the back which makes it much easier to stick down. I then cut the sky and ocean from a water coloured background. I also cut the bottom sandy beach and the boats from scraps of water coloured paper too.
I then played around with the puzzle and pieced all the scene together - just as well that I like jig saw puzzles. I finished it off by using some Graphic 45 scraps to create the background.
Hope you enjoy.

What a beautiful work of art, this focal image is one wonderful watercolor masterpiece--STUNNING!!! Love how you've combined the patterned paper and that deeper blue cs on the front--perfect, it all flows together so beautifully!!! SO nice!!!

Oh, Helen, sweet Helen! I'm so sorry that you are cold and miserable this winter. But you surely made a gorgeous card with this new PB die! I love it and love the wonderful colors! It actually reminds me of the stained glass work I used to do. I made something similar to this for my DH that we no longer have for some reason. But wow, I love it! So glad you had fun with it, and I hope we shall see it again! Hugs, sweet friend, and keep warm! xoxo
