This is the inside of Ben's Grad Card, I cut another double-stitched rectangle (the largest one) from SSS in white cardstock. Then I die-cut in black the word die "congrats" three times and glued them together for more dimension. Note to self, when using Multi-Matte adhesive on black cardstock, know that some of the black color will bleed onto your white cardstock--this was my first time using this glue, perhaps it would happen with many other glues, I don't know... Another time, I'd definitely add double-sided adhesive to the bottom of the black card-stock to make an easy sticker, much easier to put together!!! Hmmm....
I stamped one of the sentiments from MFT's Happy Graduation in Hero Arts Neon Ombre ink using my MISTI, it took a couple of stampings and I felt I didn't leave in enough color variation, next time... I wanted to emphasize the "YOU", so I added some clear glaze from a Sakura glaze pen over the "YOU" to emphasize how much his other aunt and I are proud of Ben. He has done very well in school and we are proud of his hard work and accomplishments, but we are just as proud of the kind, fine young man he has become, and we pray he will have a very positive high school experience.
Thanks so much for stopping in to see my card. It absolutely makes my day when you leave a comment--I learn from them and appreciate the time and trouble you take to leave a comment. How I love meeting new stamping friends here at SCS!!!
