hi there,
Here is my card for the F4A today; Recycle It.
Love how my card turned out.
I used an old credit card and some acrylic paint to create my card. My friend Maura aka beesmom, posted a card with a link to a tutorial about how to create a faux printed bkg. and I really wanted to try it:
Basically you use a credit card to spread the acrylic paint over your paper in layers. I had some white paint leftover on my palette so instead of wasting it, I dipped the edge of the credit card into it and added the white lines and splattered some paint as well with a paint brush.

Wow, I am loving the neat background you created with a credit card. I am going to have to try this. I love the black you added to the blue and black colors. Thank you, for playing the F4A challenge today.

Great use of that credit card. We were thinking alike to some degree. I used a gift card on mine and punched it out.

Karen - thanks for the heads up on this!!! I love this, so dramatic and eye-catching! And a completely different look than I achieved, which is so cool that the technique is so versatile. I am so glad you liked the technique and I look forward to seeing more....
