My dear friend Donna gave me this wonderful cat stamp one day so I wanted to make her a special card using this stamp. My friend Donna loves glitz and glitter so I wanted to incorporate that into the card as well, but I was stumped. So I stamped the image and had a blast coloring it with Prisma watercolor pencils and blending with gamsol. Then I was stumped again. I decided on a z-fold card so figured out what DSP to use and adhered that to the cardbase. I had put a jar of glitter on my desk because I knew I wanted to use glitter, but how - so I slept on it. The next morning I went down to my studio and knew exactly what to do. I applied a 6" wide panel of Elizabeth Craft 2-sided scoretape to the front of the image panel (right over the stamped image). Then I trimmed the excess adhesive close to the image panel. Removed the top relief sheet and poured glitter on top and voila! Honestly, after I did this, I laughed out loud because now this cat reminds me of Hugh Heffner - not sure why, but it does. Someone else commented that this cat reminded them of Liberace. LOL. Even though I was stumped by this card, it was a really fun project to make.

Laughing about Liberace! Love the originality and the tailoring you did to this card for your friend. How fun is this? Love the bright colors and I'm sure she will get such a kick out of this! Fantastic!
