A card for the alphabet challenge for the letter X, which was a double challenge to not only use the letter X, but also a crossroad. My X is the crossing sign and the crossroad is the crossing of the two tracks, rather subtle, with a short piece of track at the lower left. I decided todig out my rusty brayering skills and I certainly need to practise more! This is a sunset scene. I used several SU and Ranger distress inks for the brayering. I also added a die cut hill with silhouette trees. The train was stamped once in black and once in red and the wheels were cut off the red engine and the rest was glued to the train. I also heat embossed the cowcatcher in silver. The railway crossing sign was also heat embossed in silver and the lights were done in red ep. The train was mounted on dimensionals. This card will be for one of my grandsons who love trains.

What a fun card! You totally nailed that challenge! Wow! Love, love, love your train (I am a train fanatic - live right by the tracks too). Very cool images and fun sponging/brayering. Great card.

Wow, what a great scene you've created! Love that train and the beautiful sunset (your brayering skills look great to me). Clever use of the railroad crossing sign for your x. Well done!!

Excellent train scene. Love the track, the x-ing sign and the train engine. Your sunset is beautiful. I like the extra length for this scene. Well done for Letter X. TFS
