This was a wonderful way to use up some smaller scraps of cardstock and ribbon. All of the flowers and the tags were punched from small scraps, and the ribbons were pieces from my "when will i ever use this little piece?" pile.
I used mini glue dots to attached each flower to the card, and it took me a while to get the hang of it. Regular old scotch tape seemed to be the thing to hold the ribbon at an angle on the backs of the embossed white pieces.
I also used an old Stampin' Up Color Coach (the color wheel) as the inspiration for my sets of colors. It gave me: (1) certainly celery, blush blossom, almost amethyst, apricot appeal, regal rose; and (2) apricot appeal, cameo coral, lavender lace, certainly celery, bashful blue. (See the collection for more color combos.)
These cards were a complete steal from jguyeby and her beautiful original - check it out.
